Highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena is billed to perform at the University of Ghana, Legon tomorrow, April 5. As part of the 55th hall week celebration of Volta Hall, the only female hall in the school, Kwabena Kwabena together with other musicians will thrill students of the institution established in 1948 with spectacular music on the night.
The artiste night of the Volta Hall week celebration slated for tomorrow will be held at the premises of the hall.
The organizing secretary for Volta Hall JCR in an interview with Zionfelix.com mentioned Kaakie as another artiste billed for the show.
Tomorrow’s show is Kwabena Kwabena’s first major show at the oldest and largest of the thirteen Ghanaian universities and tertiary institutions. He was honoured by the music department of the university last year for his enormous contribution to the music industry.
The award-winning highlife artiste was nominated for the 15th edition of Ghana Music Awards in the Artiste of the Year, Vodafone Song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year, Best Male Vocal Performance, Song writer of the Year and Highlife Artiste of the Year categories.
