Zionfelix.com can confirm that the trip for the ten-man contingent from Kumawood traveling to support the senior national team, Black Stars in Brazil has been cancelled.
Wayoosi, Kyeiwaa, Jones Agyemang together with other Kumawood actors were traveling to Brazil with the help of a non-governmental organization, Sports Education and Management to support Black Stars at the ongoing World Cup.
Zionfelix.com reported earlier this week that the group which includes Akua Ataa Kyeiwaa, Wayoosi , Yaw Daabo, Ras Niini, Fumyaa, Kwame Frederick, Jones Agyemang and others were stranded in Accra for lack of finances to send them to Brazil.
Edward Colman, CEO of Sports Education and Management earlier this week revealed on Radio Univers that all is set for the Kumawood actors to leave the country but confirmed that the amount to be paid to each person was not ready which had delayed them from travelling.
Wayoosi, a member of the group who was to be in Brazil before Ghana’s first match was on Hello Entertainment Review in Kumasi on Saturday, June 21 to narrate his ordeal.
