Kumawood movie “MADE IN AGEGE”, Liwin, Vivian Jill, others nominated for 2014 ZAFAA GLOBAL AWARDS

made-in-agegeKumawood movie “Made In Agege” has been nominated at this years African Film Festival and Academy Awards (also known as ZAFAA). The producer of the movie, “Made In Agege”, Kenneth Yeboah was nominated for “Best Producer For Indigenous” and “Best Cinematography” categories.

Other Ghanaian actors who were nominated for this year’s ZAFAA Awards were Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin, Vivian Jill, Christiana Awuni, Ken Attoh, Van Vicker, Paulina Oduro and others. Full list of nomination will be out soon

The yet to be released movie “Made In Agege” was first premiered in four states in USA - New York City, Columbus, Ohio, Worcester, Massachusetts and Maryland and later premieredat the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.

The directed by Kenneth Yeboah features popular actors like Kwadwo Nkansa Liwin, Bernard Aduse-Poku, Bill Asamoah, Francis Ofori Atta, Yaw Wusu-Ansah, Dada Santo, Bridget Adusei and many others.

This year’s ZAFAA Awards comes off on November 8 at Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, London.

The African Film Festival and Academy Awards (also known as ZAFAA) is a highly regarded and anticipated film event within the African communities and has already become a part of the UK’s annual cultural calendar. Through ZAFAA Global Awards UK, the African film plans to rebrand its movie industry with the intention of re-launching itself into the international movie market on the same level as other global movie industries
