Had it not been the intervention of the most high God, this publication would not have been published due to an accident which happened last Sunday on our return from Volta Region. I was part of the team which traveled to Volta Region with actress Xandy Kamel for the first edition of Buem Excellence Award. On our return from Volta Region to Accra on Sunday morning after six hours of driving, the driver of the actress’ Toyota Corolla, one of the two cars we traveled in drove off the road at Sakumono and hit a taxi. When we all thought the taxi will bring the car to a halt, the car went ahead to hit a nearby carpentry shop.
The actress, myself and three of her friends who were in her late father’s Pajero were saved from the accident but the driver and an unknown lady who were in the Toyota Corolla suffered injuries and were rushed to the hospital .
What else can I say than to thank God for saving us from this unfortunate incident. This is the first time in my life I’m witnessing a live accident. Below are photos from the Toyota Corolla after the accident.
