Rapper Edem has never looked back after he made his first hit song many years ago. The rapper then was signed on Hammer’s label, this deal the beatmaker says he has never regretted having with the musician.
Speaking on Kasapa FM, Hammer said Edem is the “the best artiste I have ever worked with”
“Edem made money for me so fast within two and half years instead of five years after signing him on. He was the best artiste I have ever worked with,”
“Edem is one of the most underrated artistes in this country but he is versatile, he has shown musicianship. Apart from just being a rapper, he sings as well. He is talented in music and more than the average artist but the industry is not showing him the love he deserves.”
“When I started grooming Edem, a lot of people were against it because his ‘Ewe’ rap was new and a lot of people predicted that he wouldn’t go far with it but I stood still to help nurture him to get the breakthrough with his style of music.
“Edem is a strong man because after I left him to start the journey on his own, he exceeded my expectations which am proud of him. He gets more love outside the country than in Ghana.
