The visuals for the latest single of Pat Thomas’ daughter Nana Yaa; Ego Be has been released.
According to the songstress, she wants to uplift and encourage people who may have been down hearted due to one reason or the other, people who may think that all hope is lost and may have lost faith in the blessings and favour of God.
The song is intended to bring peace and fulfillment in the lives of people with the tag line, Ego Be, meaning it shall be well, it is just a matter of time.
At a press conference organized yesterday at +233, Nana Yaa said, she was inspired by her 7 years sweet relationship that went bad and the death of her uncle.
“You know I had just come out from a relationship and I lost my uncle. It was a big blow to all of us especially my cousin so whenever we talk to each other, we end our conversation with Ego be and for me, those words always remained my source of encouragement.”
The song was rendered in Pidgin, English and Ga dialects. It also sought to project her sense of Africanism that she has always be known for.
The video was directed by Stanley and it captures some beautiful scenes in Ghana.
