Wanlov De Kubolor, a member of the music group FOKN Bois has once again attacked Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams after the latter prayed to command the cedis to rise up.
The controversial musician after the Archbishop praying over the cedis story was reported put up a meme on his facebook fanpage which read “Hey Pastor, give everyone their money now and get a fucking job! Love Jesus”. Zionfelix.com found out that, this statement by Wanlov sparked a lot of controversy in the country with many bashing him for his choice of words against the man of God.
Earlier this week, the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International was again reported to have said that “non-achievers are not qualified to criticize him” but Wanlov who feels the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International was referring to him has again retaliated.
The musician who says he does not talk from his stomach anytime he opens his lips to say something in an interview with BRA Chef on Radio Univers 105.7 said the words on the meme he posted on his fanpage were not his words but his sentiments. He added that if he was to pass any comment about Duncan-William’s issue, he would have said that “if that is the case and he believes in what he is saying, he should stop taking collection from now and till forever and just pray that all the collection he has taken so far at his church can increase in spiritual value so he doesn’t need to take any collection anymore”
“ and I could have ended that by saying ‘KWASIA’ to mean that he is very foolish to make people think that they should sit in their homes and pray instead of working to make the economy grow” he stressed.
The controversial musician speaking on the mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch on Monday said the Archbishop’s command that non-achievers should not criticize him was directed to him and other people but he, Wanlov wants to inform him that he has achieved something but not that much because he does not pay ‘payola’ as other musicians do.
According to the father of five, “he work that I do is honest music through music and somehow I’m surviving from it and I’m content with that. Maybe he is talking about financially. If I had enough money where he wants some of my money then he will be bothered about what I’m saying but when he is talking about achievements, me I have won an award in France and around the world”
“I travel around the world very much because of my work so I feel that I have achieved something if to him that is not an achievement. That means his only way to measure achievement from somebody is if the person has money” Wanlov closed the chapter on the Duncan-William’s issue.
