Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim seems to have bitten more than she could chew after she posted a video insulting Black Stars goalkeeper, Razak Braimah, on her instagram page.
Ghanaians are still licking their wounds after a painful African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final loss to neigbours Ivory Coast. Ghana lost 8-9 on penalties after a barren 120 minutes of grueling AFCON final in Bata, Equatorial Guinea.
Fans are angry at the actress for posting a video of an unidentified man raining insults on the Ghanaian goalkeeper, calling him “useless” and that “you can’t even catch one penalty.”
Juliet added the video, a caption: “title of video – useless keeper as for U ignorant ones commenting crap on my page, enlighten Ur minds before typing crap! Dis is a repost video so whatever caption he used is exactly what will appear on my page dummies! Unfollow if u got a problem with humor. #Jokers.”
The video and accompanying comments have not gone down with fans who expressed disappointment at her lack of discretion.
Comments that Myjoyonline.com monitored on the actress’ Instagram page indicated she had edited the caption and watered it down. The original post was harsh it would seem.
Razak Braimah missed the crucial penalty kick while his opponent Aboubakar Barry scored to hand Ivory Coast their second AFCON title.
A fan, ohimaijoy, commenting on the post said: “Y dis u remove d ‘useless keeper’ u wrote earlier if u knw u aint guilty! I dont even hav d time to follow u hisssssssssss! @julietibrahim”
“U just deleted the statement ‘useless’,nd who even hv tym to follow u madam hazard,” another added.
