In the early house of Thursday, May 23, 2024, it emerged that popular Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Precious Fella Makafui was arrested for selling unregistered drugs from her shop in Mempeasem.

According to the reports, investigative reporter Akwasi Koranteng, representing ISPYGH 247—an investigative documentary filmmaking firm in partnership with the Pharmacy Council Ghana caused the arrest on May 22, 2024.

It also emerged that the arrest followed a six-month surveillance operation monitoring Fella’s social media activity on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

The report lists confiscated items including fertility teas, enlargement syrups and oils, detox pearls, and sexual vitality teas, among others.

These products were allegedly marketed without approval from the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

Per some reports we have gathered now, Fella Makafui has been granted bail pending further investigation.

It has also been alleged that Medikal was the one who secured the bail for her notwithstanding their current marital issues that has resulted in their divorce.

Some individuals who have have been making the suggestions that Fella was bailed out by Medikal have claimed that he did it because of their daughter, Island Frimpong.

In an official statement released today, May 23, 2024, Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has finally addressed the recent widespread reports concerning her alleged arrest.

The statement, issued by her management team, firmly refutes the claims circulating in the media.

According to the statement, Fella Makafui was not arrested but was instead invited by authorities to assist in an ongoing investigation.

The statement reads, “Please disregard the reports about Actress Fella Makafui’s arrest. She was invited yesterday and departed soon after respectfully honouring the invitation.”

They added that the actress complied with the invitation, providing all necessary information to aid the inquiry.

It is revealed in the statement that she presented her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice Council along with documentation for her FDA-registered products.

Her management emphasized the actress’s cooperation with the authorities, noting that she provided extensive information to support the investigation.

The statement further reassured her fan base and the public of her innocence and compliance with regulatory standards. “We would like to reassure her many fans to remain calm and continue praying for her as she navigates these challenges. Trust that God is in control,” the management team urged.

Ghanaian musicians DBlack and Medikal have officially made peace after a month-long public feud.

The reconciliation took place during an interview on Star FM with Bola Ray, where DBlack made a surprise appearance to commend Medikal on his successful O2 show.

The tension between the two artists began when Medikal publicly criticized DBlack for passing a cigar to his ex-wife, Fella Makafui, in a club.

This incident led Medikal to record a diss track targeting DBlack, calling him names and questioning his actions.

In response, DBlack took to Twitter to clarify the situation. He explained that he did not hand the cigar to Fella Makafui but simply lit it for her at her request.

He also noted that prior to this incident, they had not seen each other for two years.

Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has come out to address allegations made by his colleague Ras Kuuku regarding the supposed removal of his verse from Kinaata’s hit song “Effiakuma Love.”

During a TikTok live session on Thursday, May 23, 2024, Kinaata clarified the situation, offering a detailed explanation that directly contradicts Ras Kuuku’s claims.

Before Kinaata’s clarification, Ras Kuuku had appeared on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’ show earlier in the day and disclosed that he had originally contributed a verse to “Effiakuma Love” in 2020.

However, he was surprised that his verse was missing when the track was re-released in 2023.

The Puom Music boss speculated that his verse might have been deemed too strong, leading to its exclusion.

In his TikTok live session, Kofi Kinaata responded to these allegations with a firm denial.

He emphasized that he had never heard Ras Kuuku’s verse on the song and offered a timeline to clarify the sequence of events.

Kinaata explained that the initial “Effiakuma Love” recording was done digitally in 2019.

This version, according to Kinaata, was the one sent by his manager, Oh Joe, to Ras Kuuku for a feature.

Kinaata also took the opportunity to stress that there was no animosity between him and Ras Kuuku.

Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, has paid a visit to the Gborbu Wulomo Shitse and the Nungua Traditional leaders.

This visit follows a summons by the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, the Overlord of the Gadangme State, to both Ghanaian rapper Medikal and his ex-wife, Fella Makafui.

The summons pertains to their purchase of land in Nungua, which has sparked significant discussion online.

The controversy began with the circulation of a land document on social media, indicating Medikal and Fella Makafui as the buyers of the land in question.

This document eventually caught the attention of the Gborbu Wulomo Shitse and the Nungua Mantse, leading them to demand the presence of the duo at the palace to address the matter.

In the photos, the “Resonance” movie producer was accompanied by some colleagues, including Ghanaian actress Habiba Sinare, to the office of the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse.

Earlier yesterday, May 24, 2024, actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui was reported to have appeared before the Nungua Stool following a summons issued earlier in the week to herself and her estranged husband, Medikal.

The Office of the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, on behalf of the Gadangme State, issued separate summonses to the two regarding their land documents, which have been making the rounds on social media lately.

After Fella’s meeting, photos were circulated online, and many netizens began to ask whether Medikal was not at the meeting, as he was not seen in any of the images that went around.

Apparently, he was at the palace but he went there quite late in the day.

In a Facebook post, Ghanaian media personality Caleb Nii Boye disclosed that although Medikal attended the meeting, he did not have the land documents that were the basis for his invitation.

Caleb added that Medikal was directed by the Office of the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse to reappear come Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with papers.

“Aftermath qof the Medikal meeting with Nungua Traditional council. Medikal didn’t come to the meeting with the documents requested for, so he has been asked to return on Tuesday 11am with the said document,” Caleb wrote.

Tragic news that has emerged online this morning reports that beloved Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin has been involved in a serious car accident in Amakom, Kumasi.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred while Lilwin and his team were traveling to a location in preparation for his movie premiere, set to take place tonight at the CCB Auditorium at KNUST.

Footage from the scene shows significant damage to the actor’s car showing the accident’s severity.

In the videos, Lilwin is seen being carefully transferred to another vehicle for urgent medical attention.

As of now, the cause of the accident remains unknown.

The PRO of Wezzy Empire, Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame, has given an update about Lilwin’s accident.

Lilwin was involved in a car accident at Amakom, Kumasi, on Saturday morning, May 25, 2024.

What caused the accident has not been revealed yet.

But speaking in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, Akwadaa Nyame said the popular Kumawood actor is receiving treatment.

He indicated that Lilwin has been admitted to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Akwadaa Nyame called on Ghanaians to pray for Lilwin.

Despite the accident, the PRO stated that the premiere of Lilwin’s ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie will be held tonight.

It will come off at the CCB Auditorium, KNUST in Kumasi.

Even though he, the driver was the least affected passenger, he disclosed that KK Fosu and Bless had their legs broken, while the last passenger, who was the aide of Bless unfortunately died.

Recounting what brought about the accident, Nana Obiri Yeboah, the driver in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz show later hosted by disclosed that a case of wrongful overtaking by a white Benz 350 forced all cars going in the Apam Junction direction to move to the shoulders of the road to allow the passenger vehicle to pass before they return onto the road.

“Like the other cars, we also moved to the shoulder of the road to allow the errant driver to pass, it turned out that he crashed into our car, a situation I became aware of when I regained consciousness,” he told MzGee.

“The three passengers had already been sent to the Apam Hospital when I regained consciousness. I asked and was told where they had been sent. I quickly ensured that our key belongings were secured before heading to the hospital. I can confirm that KK and Bless suffered broken legs, KK’s own was less damaging than Bless’, the other passenger, an aide to Bless, apparently died on the spot,” he added.

Currently, the two musicians and the aide of Bless who passed away are reported to have been brought back to Accra in an ambulance and have been admitted to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) for further treatment.
